I have a HP Proliant Ml330 G3 Its running raid 5 and one of the three hard drive may getting failure. I plan to change the hard drive soon, but recently when rebooting the server it show scsi boot device not found and no scsi bios installed. It still can boot to windows SBS 2003, but took quite awhile to do so, as its detecting other boot device like floopy , cd rom , ethernet affter the error... then it can start the windows. Just wonder if I replace the faulty HDD, does this error will disappear, Should i just replaced the hard drive like that. Just afraid it cant boot after hdd replaced. Any advise? ASAP ... TQ

What leads you to think a drive is failing? Usually you don't get a clue until it fails.
"scsi boot device not found and no scsi bios installed" is a NORMAL bootup message if you have a builtin scsi controller that you are NOT USING.
Start by determining what hard drive controllers exist in the system [scsi or ata], what drives are in the system [type and size] and what controller the drives are connected to.
Always a good thing to reseat the cables at each end while you are looking around.
