Scheduled BAckups Dont start

I have scheduled backups in win 2000 server and win 2003 server but they do not start at all do i have to put some special settings? I use a special account for just running backups but they wont start at all. They run only when i manually right click on schedule and then Run. Can some one help me....

I guess I would check to make sure you have the correct policies set up for the account you log onto. Maybe check the local system policies or domain policies in administrative tools. you may have to give a password in the "set account information" dialog box, under the backup utility. check the event viewer and see if that gives you any insight.
