Hi, I'm moving a client from old hardware running SBS2003 to new hardware. Does anyone have advice to move the SBS2003 accounts/ADC, Exchange mailboxes, etc from the old server to the new?
The best way to do this is to firstly backup exchange using NT backup,
secondly - backup the system state using nt backup.
reinstall the sbs ont he new hardware make sure the domain is set up exactly the same, and that the hardisk are partitioned the same.
the run the NT back and restore you system state, then restore exchange, you will then have to do a mailbox cleanup and then add users accounts to exchange mail boxes.
