Hi I'm having a dns issue for some reason my dns on my client machines seems very slow and some what unresponsive when I point dns on my client machine running xp pro to the sbs 2003 server. If I point the dns from the client machines directly to the isp's dns server it is blazing fast. I have set up several servers running sbs 2003 in the past the exact same way I set up this one. I have flushed the dns several times on both the clients and on the server still no improvement.

Any suggestions????????????????????

You've got to have something setup incorrectly in DNS from the sounds of it. That's where I'd start troubleshooting the problem. Utilities like nslookup and dcdiag might help you narrow the problem down.
