Hi there, I have a w2k3 server R2 a retail version installed on my server. This version came with 5 licences. These licences are installed fine. I needed some more licences so I ordered the same O.S. again. I received it and opened the box only to realize that it is an OEM version with 5 cal. When I go to the AD, licence and do an add licence, I get a error that the licence number is incorrect etc... Please help? I am unfamiliar with OEM and have been trying to figure out if there is something extra I have to do to install these licences? Best Regards, Roisin

You bought the wrong licenses. Appears you bought server and 5 cals. I don't believe you can separate them.
I would call MS can run it by them
Example of Oxymoron:
Person who is pro life and anti sex education. Education is key to prevention. Prevent conception you prevent abortion.
Abstinence training clearly isn't working.

Will do thanks! I will have to set up a new server in the new year. Will this pack do for that? or should I stay away from OEM completely, I've seen that I need to be a micr. partner to use it etc.. Regards, Roisin
