I've just set up a SBS 2003 server and am experiencing a problem with folder redirection. It works for all local users on the server but NOT from any XP Pro (SP2) client machine. I've read various threads on the Forum but still can shed any light on it. Can anyone help???

The way I done it at one Client site, only 5 Machines, created a share on one drive on the Server, then a folder under that, one for each user, visited the client machine, right clicked the My Documents Properties, then moved the folder to the Server share. this worked quite well. But if you had a large amount of Users, might see if this can be scripted.

Sounds like a good idea, in effect the entire My Docs folder resides permanently on the server. Thank you for that.
I'd still like to know why the folder redirect doesnt work, so if there is anyone with an answer, I'd really appreciate it.
