I have a Windows 2003 server running RRAS not joined to my domain. It has NIC's; one connected directly to the internet and the other connected to the internal network. I'm fairly new to routing tables and routing in general. The problem is that I can't ping my internal network once i get the VPN connected.
The external connection is 12.186.x.x
The internal connection is 192.168.1.4
I have the server assigning 10.10.0.x ip's to the clients.

How do I make the external adapter talk to the internal one so i can ping resources on my network after the vpn is connected?

Sorry to be vague with my answer but VPN setup isn't my area of work.

Heres my suggestion.
Do you have any static routes set up. I think this may be where your issues are.
