Ok so here is my problem, i have an Alarm King camera server connected through a 16 port switch that distributes feed to every computer on the network just by typing the ip address of the local machine into a browser. What i want to know is if i can use routing and remote access to make that camera server available through a port on my website that my server is running. And if i can do it, how do i go about configuring it.

Yes you can. You will have to find out how to change the port that your camera server uses as you really do not want to start directing port 80 directly from your websever.
There are plenty java scripts that will allow you to forward feeds to your webserver. Unfortunately you will have to find one that suits your circumstances.
