I have a server running windows server 2003(servername1) that I tried to install VPN on it using the manage server option. After the install was finished I got an error saying need to add remote DHCP agent. After doing this, I tried to start the service and it returned an error 8007042a and could not start. I decided to uninstall the VPN since it wouldn't function properly.
My problem now is that the server(servername1) can't be found on the network. It doesn't show up in the my network(from other PC's or servers) and nor can you rdp in. You can only RPD using the ip address. From the server(servername1) going to view entire network shows the domain name but no other computers in it, not even itself(servername1). But mapped network drives, rdp, and ping using other server names work.

It's as if its logging on the domain fine but once logged on it cannot be seen nor can it see any other servers/pc's without manually entering them in.
Servername1 is a webserver with IIS running only.

So far my only actions have been uninstalling VPN and rebooting the server. The event log doesnt show anything that would be causing this issue.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
