We have had a server using roaming profiles since 2005 with no problems. Around august, random people started to have file copy problems when logging in. If you wait about 10 minutes and try again, it will work fine. I have turned off antivirus, webroot corporate, microsoft indexing, backup exec and everything else that isn't necessary on both the workstations and the server. Has anybody seen this anywhere??? It is driving m and my customer crazy. It happens to several people a day.
