I got a call from a client stating that after setting up roaming profiles
with gpo folder redirection on a 2003 std. server with XP pro PC's the users
see the profile folders of all users when clicking start | all programs on
their respective PC's. I checked and he has the profile shares setup :
\\server2$\profiles$ with full control set to everyone. Any ideas on how to
correct this?Thanks,
Frank

I'm a little muddled as to exactly what's going on, so...
You're saying that the XP end user clicks Start | All Programs, and instead of the standard set of icons they get a list of all the user profiles? If so, that sounds like someone typed in the wrong path in the GPO for the folder redirections.
As for the "Everyone" getting Full Control on that share... If that's the NTFS security and not the share secruity I'd strongly suggest you change that. Microsoft has some good documentation on setting up the proper security for shares that contain folder redirection data...
