restrict file sharing

i have a file sharing server with win server 2003 so that everybody can save their file freely. could i restrict file such as mp3, avi, dat, etc to be saved there? thanks.

I don't know of any way to "restrict" saving those files, but you could make a batch file to run every night that would delete those files if they had been saved... or even have it run more frequently.

You may also want to consider that these files the users save could be work related. How will you designate which ones should remain and which ones should be deleted?
