This might sound dumb. But I would like to restrict access to my windows 2003 server machine to certain ip addresses only on my network. Is there any facility for this on windows ? Is there any third pary software that I could use ???

What do you mean by restrict? You can make is so that certain users can only log onto certain computers (in a domain), but other than that i dont know what you mean.

Without an internal firewall or a firewall on the server you cannot block acess by IP, i think you can use the windows 2003 advanced tcp/ip settings the block certain ip's. i would suggest using permisions on user accounts.
