Restarting a program automatically

We have a program that needs to be running all the time on our server. This program cannot be run as a service. We need a program or a way to detect that it has stopped and then for it to be restarted. This is because we are finding that the program is erroring out and exiting itself. Has any one any experience of a tool/program that can help??

You may want to take a look at a program called "AlwaysUp". I'm presently running it on a 2003 SBS server to ensure certain applications restart if they should crash.
