Hi, Can I reset the account locked property from command line or using a script? and if so what should i use? basically i want to create a taskpad and i want one of the options to be able to unlock a locked account. thanks in advance

Hi,
You make it sound that unlocking an account is something you happly do day-in-day-out. Accounts lock up because it could be a security issue, the safest way is just to unlock it manually.
For people like my self working in an age 14-adults college we have many users who like to lock others out, way round this is to remove last username from login box and set the auto unlock timer in GPO to 5 min.
We also deligate Account Managers with custom MMC consoles giving them access to spacific year groups user accounts (not user areas) to unlock or lock them as nessocary.
