Removing additional domain controll

I am try to remove the child domain by using dcpromo. I got the error
> with "Active Directory could not transfer the remaining data in

> because of a DNS lookup failure." I go to Active Directory Sites and

On both servers i have same DNS entry and that is of Server 1
