Removing Additional domain controll

I want to remove additional domain controller (Active Directory)from my additional domain controller what is the best possible method to do that just run dcpromo and what else to take care of

Before you DCPromo the additional DC down, make sure all FSMO roles have been moved off if any. That's basically it. If a DNS server, make sure nothing is pointing to it for DNS services anymore, but that's not really AD specific.
