Remove an unavailable DC

Hi, guy:
help me ,please .
Question description:
1.I have 4 DC in my office
2.I also have 1 child DC with Exchange 2003
in Hong Kong
3.The child DC dead now , i determine to drop
it .
4.But , the child DC get many replication
including policy and AD information and sysvol
with other 4 DC in my office.
So , what can i do or remove the child DC
clearly and completely and safety ?

Please help me ,thanks in advance.

If you can't uninstall exchange and dcpromo down the dc you have to follow the proceedure above to cleanup your metadata.

Hi , Thanks your reply so much.

Follow command "ntdsutil" , then connect server SERVER ,
but my HongKong server already offline . So that , i can't pass
this step .

What should i do ? Thanks in advance.

You connect to a live server not the dead one. I seem to recall you need to connect to the DC containing the schema master fsmo role.
