Ok a business that i work for has windows terminal services and Locally on the LAN people can put in the IP address and log into it just fine and there on cable modem with a 10/100 lan.
They want to be able to do that remotely from another location which is on a LAN.
If Terminal services works locally and is turned on.
Why dont it work on the machines which are away.
Heres the info on the server (actual numbers vary)
Servername: mbserver
Domain Name: mb
IP Address 192.168.1.201 Local LAN
Real world IP: 24.68.193.23Gateway 192.168.1.1
Im not sure if any other info is necessary.Do i have to go somehwere like terminal settings to add a user thats remote?
It is check when i right click my computer and go to remote both boxes are checked but i dont like and have never used 2003 Im a linux user so if anyone can tell me a page where its step by step or kindy do a numbered outline on how to set up or do a checklist on server side then a client side check it would be greatly appricated.
