I am trying to make it available for me to be able to change my desktop background when I am logged on to my server from a RDP session. I am allowing "Desktop background" on my local machines remote desktop connection application. I have also gone into my server and changed the in the Group Policy for the Local Computer and for the Domain , "Enforce removal of Remote Desktop Wallpaper" to Disable. I have also gone into the servers service and started themes. I'm running out of ideas and any help would be appreciated. Thank you, Jim

When you connect through remote desktop client, there is an options button, click that, goto Experience tab, check the box for Desktop background, then connect. your desktop background should now show up. If it isn't already on the experience tab, make sure Custom is selected in the drop down, etc.

Odd...with that selected the desktop wallpaper should show up...changing the wallpaper will not work from the RDP connection, but if you have a wallpaper selected, it should show up on the desktop...at least that is how it is working on the computers I am trying it on, but have no other ideas.
