Hi, I an very new to windows server. Here is my problem: I created an user and made him a member of Remote Desktop user group. But he is unable to logon using remote desktop. This is the message he is getting "To log on to this computer, you must be granted the Allow log on through Terminal Services right. By default, members of Remote desktop users group have this right. If you are not a member of remote desktop user group or another group that has this right or if the remote desktop users group does not have this right, you must be granted this right manually." Can any one let me know how to hrant right s manually. Thanks in advance.....

.. check to domain group policy, and remember that the computer where u want to logon must be granted permission for login through remote desktop. go to the computer where u want to logon remotely and in the properties of my comp select the allow users to connect to this computer remotely:) kk ?or u can deploy this setting by group policy, create and ou, and a group inside of that ou and then add members to that group(computers) and apply domain policy to that ou where the group is.
