Comment:

I manage a server using Remoted Desktop Connection, this server "serves" as a web (Apache with PHP)and email (Ipswitch) server.
As I mention already, I connect to this server using RDC (the server is located elsewhere), but when I'm done using the server I just close the RDC windows, I don't logout.
My question is: Does this type of use affect the server (someway) in the performance?
Would it be better to logout? or It doesn't make any difference?

Just closing the window will keep your session active. Not a big deal unless you have multiple people logging into it and the sessions are maxed out.

I like long walks, especially when they are taken by people who annoy me.

Yes, I knew that if I just close the windows it will keep the session "open", and that's why I had the doubt if this would affect performance.

And to close your comment buckethead, only 1 person connects to the server, and that would only be me.
