Comment: I do all administration by using remote desktop and the server is physically colocated in a server hotel. Some days ago I installed the Terminal Services and then the machine rebooted and since then I can not login by RDP because it can not find the Terminal License Server? Perhaps it is not activated? No I wonder what to do? Uninstall Terminal Services or activate the License Server? Will I be able to use the Remote Desktop for admin if I uninstall Terminal services? Regards

Reply: (edit)We have a rather expensive edition, Windows 2003 Server Enterprise R2 with 25 CALs. I thought we had the right to use more than 2 remote desktop connections for admin and therefore activated the Terminal Services. Now when I understand that we have to buy TS CALS I want to uninstall Terminal Services and only use Remote Desktop for admin (max 2 connections). I have to break in into the server hotel and manage our server from the console. Regards
