hello guys................ i want to use my local computer management tool to connect to a remote computer managent tool on other pc,s on my lan...but when i give the name of remote computer in my local computer management tool ..it still displays me the things of local compuetr.......whats going on???? any help or advices and requirements needed to succefully utilize remote computer management and also its common issues???

"displays me the things of local compuetr" What do you mean by that? How exactly are you attempting to connect to the remote machine? Are you running the Remote Desktop program to do this?

After viewing this again, I "Think" I know what you want to do.
When you open Computer Mangement, are you actually right-clicking and selecting "Connect to another computer?" then entering the hostname of a Domain machine?

i click to connect to another computer in computer management console and specify the name of computer also specify the credentials if needed but all in vain some times it is displaying my own computer management console and some times its giving error messages acceess is denied although the credentials are correct.............i hope u understand the situation.............and give me suggestions what i have to do so that i can use computer managent console of other pc,s in my lan
