Remore desktop printing

I am controlling a Win2k3 server via Remote Desktop. I shared all local resources (Priters, Drives and Ports) with the server. I can see my local hard drive in the session but for some reason I can't print. I keep installing the printer (HP 1012 which is connected via USB to the local computer) on the server and yet I can't print. I tried all ports but none seem to work.

The way remote desktop printing works is this:
When you have the option to connect printers selected, and you connect to a server, any local printer on your machine automatically gets mapped. However, this ONLY happens if it knows what driver to use. If this is not happening, look in the System event log for "print" events (I think) that indicate that no driver is for that specific printer.
