I cant change the folders in my users shared directory to un select read only. Each user has their own folder and has been given full permissions to that folder but under the folder properties a grey read only tick apears. If I unselect it it just comes back. Users can see folders and access files but can not save any new files to the folders.

The grey read only comes from inherented permissions give them change rights on the upper folder.

I'm having the same issue even though I have set everything up to the default drive share as full rights I'm getting the grey "read only" and when the users try to open any of their files they open as read only even though the files themselves aren't marked that way.
The odd thing is the public share areas show the same grey read only but the files are modifiable there. I think my next step will be to manually recreate the user folders and manually set the permissions. A pain even with just the 10 users at this site.
