Hi, I've istalled RAS and when i was configuring it at one point i was told to add the VPN serverto the RAS security group and then to restart the VPN server. So i did and when the computer came back one the RAS service did not start. In the event log it had several errors, but two stand out: 1.) The currently configured accounting provider failed to load and initialize successfully. Access was denied because the username and/or password was invalid on the domain. 2.) The Routing and Remote Access service terminated with service-specific error 691 (0x2B3).
Summary: Have you tryed safe mode yet? If not start tapping F8 after booting the pc. Also are you using a usb keyboard? If so try using a ps/2 keyboard. I really doubt the latter will be of any help but its wo...
