Comment: Hi guys, is there a way how i can set a quota on the map drive? i am using logon script command: Net use z: \\Server\Drives\Public and is thereany policy to disable rename of map drives by users?

Reply: (edit)Server 2003 supports quotas and R2 supports them per folder as opposed to per volume. To set per volume, right click the drive letter (on the server) and go to the quota tab (note: used space is calculated based on file ownership)

Reply: (edit)GraN, your question was answered. You need to set the quota on the server that hosts the share. As for you second question, I don't think renaming a mapped share (by a user) is possible.
