This is the EAST Admin again...I've searched high and low for the answer to this problem. The problem being as follows: (1) we attempted to remotely shut down our computers...all of them; (2) most of them didn't shut down...the command line told me that they were invalid computer names; (3) we checked all the computers, noting that all the IP/Networking info was identical -not counting IP Addresses. THe problem lies in our massive confussion! Please, if anyone knows the sollution to our problem, I would love to know.

We are using the remote shutdown command, in the command prompt, to shut them down (i.e.: "shutdown -i"). Well, that actually brings up the GUI version, but it does the same thing as the "shutdown" command, with the remote access command "-m".
