i have some problem in my server antivirus. i have install symantec client security on the server side and on clients i have install client symantec. but i cant update it . is there any other antivirus that i can install on server side and its client version on client side that will updated from the server automatically.

Trend Micro Client Server Suite will push the updates from the server to the clients. I have to tell you that their phone tech support has taken a turn for the worse. It used to be so good. I think that they are the last to have it.

You need to install the Server software for Symantec. You can't use the client application on the server.
Then, install the client software on the clients using the managed option, and pointing that (Parent) to the server.
What version are you using? Or do you have the Endpoint applications?

There are free ones available. You'd probably have better luck in the Security Forum.

im not asking for hacking or anything else :\ ... i jus trying to ask is there any antivirus available that is free to install ?

The cost of setting up and maintaining Windows Servers is very high due to most software being proprietary and costing money as you see here. It looks like Windows Server might not have been the best option for you. Although, depending on your usage and needs for the server, Windows Servers could be your only choice. An example of this is if you hosted web applications in a proprietary language such as ASP.net or host proprietary Windows software.
The point I am trying to make here is that STEALING is not the answer to your problems.

You aren't going to find a free AV with a Server/Client update capability. You can install some free AV programs on each machine and you wouldn't be STEALING anything.
