Problem in Connecting Win2K3 to NT

We're trying to connect a Win 2003 Enterprise Server to our existing NT Domain. But everytime we do, we get an error saying that the Domain Controller not found. We've eliminated the possibility of Connectivity and Firewall issues. The new Server and the PDC are in different subnets. Has anyone done similar setup? Any ideas?

Can't logon or join the domain
If DNS is not set up on the Domain controller correctly, domain-wide issues can occur such as replication between domain controllers. If DNS is not set up on the client correctly, the client may experience many networking and internet issues. Unable log on to the domain or join the domain from a workstation or server, and can't access the Internet indicate that you may have DNS settings issues.

I agree with the email above, as well, to test if the DNS is set up properly, add the IP of the windows 2000 server, to the NT HOSTS file. As well, add the IP of the NT box to the Windows 2000 HOSTS File. If they see each other when you do this, you know DNS is not set up properly.
