Hi, I can't get any of my computers on my small network
to print to any of the two printers that I have. I have one
XP machine, one Vista machine, and two Macs running
OSX, networked using a Linksys BEFW1154 v2 router
(there's also two PowerLine XE104s in use but I'm
temporarily taking them out of the picture to simplify
troubleshooting). One of the Macs has an HP DeskJet 5550
attached, the XP machine has an HP Photosmart C3100.

Only the attached printer/host pairs can print. None of
the computers can print to any networked printer. All
computers can ping each other.

Since this seems to affect all the computers, I tend to
wonder if there's an issue with the router... there's no
advanced filtering setup going on, and AFAIK the filtering
is set to the defaults.

Concentrating on the one printer attached to the XP
machine, I have sharing turned on for that printer, Print
Services for Unix installed, and File and Printer Sharing for
Microsoft Networks enabled. Both the Mac OSX and Vista
machines trying to print to that printer time out.

What should I try next?
