I have a network with all Windows 2003 servers. One of them is used as a printer server for 2 HP color laser printers and 3 Sharp multifunction devices for users across three subnets (the printers are all on the same subnet). We have created domain accounts for all users that need to print but not all of their computers have joined the domain. The computers that have joined the domain can print with no problems. The ones that have not joined the domain, allow us to install the shared printers (//athena/hpcolorlaser) and will work fine for a few days, then an error message, "unable to connect, access denied" will show up. Any ideas?

What's the OS on the client PC's outside your network? Are they in a workgroup named after your domain? Are the print servers config'd for anon access? and the size of the queues?
