print spooler service is not runing

I just setup my Win2003 server. It is a fresh install. Eariler in the day I installed my Lexmark Printer, then deciced I needed to uninstall it. i did that, but did not reboot. And then later on installed it agian. So now when the computer boots it says the print spooler service is not running because of the Lexmark Service can't find the file. And when I try to re-install the lexmark printer I just get the error message the print spooler service is not running. How do I unassioate the Print Spooler with the lexmark files??
