Is there a way through a group policy to disable the Print notification in the System Tray. I made the user's pc so it is Always Hide, but it came back after a couple of months. I don't know if something gets reset when logging on to the domain or what. I know through Group Policy you can disable the whole system tray except the clock but I know that my users will throw a fit. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks

Ok, I just have to ask...........

Since the print notification goes back to the source of the print job (ie: the user who sent it).....why do you want to disable it?

It's not a resource hog or a security risk so really........why bother???

I hear ya, users' complain. Not a huge deal to me. Trust me, does it on my pc and no problem for me. Most users are fine w/ it. Just a few complainers

If memory serves me, and I freely admit it doesn't always.......lol, the user can control whether or not they're notified. Check into it and if they can, tell em how so you aren't bothered with silliness.

I don't know of a way through a GP to disable that. It's either a print server or printer control I'm fairly sure.
