Preferred DNS server address

The TCP/IP properties on my server are as follows:
IP address: 10.1.1.8 Subnet mask 255.255.255.0 Default gateway: 10.1.1.1 Use the following DNS server addresses: Preferred DNS server: 127.0.0.1
As can be seen above, the IP address for my Windows 2003 Server is 10.1.1.8. Should this be the IP address that I type into the “Preferred DNS server” part, instead of 127.0.0.1 ?
