Hey everyone,
I have a Windows Server 2003 machine running and I am running an application that uses ports 44403 and 44404. I have an script that pings and displays the connection status on my website. Unfortunately, it does not work. I can't ping those ports. When I use the script on port 3306 it comes back fine saying there is a connection. Port 3306 is MySQL.
There is no firewall running and the two ports are being forwarded fine. Basically, anyone can connect to my application fine. I just cannot ping the port the application uses. Strage I know.
Does anyone know if there is something I can do in Windows to allow me to be able to ping this application?
