Performance monitor not working

The performance monitor doesn't seem to move, the memory, physical disc and processor. I have check the sevices and couldn't find anything unusal.

have you tried increasing the scale of the counters/objects,
try it ????.....
is it current activity or saved baselines?
does it happen constantly or do you check it at particular times?

By default the pages/sec, %processor, avg disc queue is entered and the graph should move, the bar is not moving. I have added another counter but still not moving?
