Hi,

I'm having a prob receiving performace & usage logs via email. I have been working with the same server machine for over a year now. I receive reports in my inbox daily. The email reports detail performance stats for the server, including memory and cpu usage, and include a summary of critical errors (if any) noted in the event logs, among other details.

The problem with these email reports started recently. Instead of detailing performance stats for the previous 24 hours, I got an email msg saying "Bad Request (Invalid Hostname)." After some research I discovered that, in order to resolve this issue, I had to change my default web site properties (in computer management) to point to the localhost (i.e., 127.0.0.1), through port 80. I made the changes and the daily email reports changed to read "
No Performance data is available at this time. Performance data is collected hourly." Now I get the same email, every day, in place of the detailed server reports I used to get originally. I've tried all the standard procedures, including "Setting up Monitoring Alerts and Reports," from within "Server Administration." I went ahead and ran the wizard in order to setup the reports, but no results as yet.

In fact, every time I go to "View Usage Report" I get the msg "No Performance data is available at this time. Performance data is collected hourly." I also noted that, just above this message reads the following line "Report created on <current date> at <current time>." In other words, the system thinks I created a report the same instant that I went to view the usage report. Is this what happens when you go to view a report, in other words, you in essence create a report to be viewed?

Can anyone help? Thanks in advance ...
