I need to install a shared MS Access and cannot use Win XPro due to the 10 user limit on a shared directory (I will need approx 25 shares). Is Windows 2003 server the solution for me, i have read that linux might be better along with samba.

peer to peer is limited to 10 concurrent connections to one pc. It is not on a per share basis.

You may want to consider putting your db on SQL server so you can have more users using it.

MS vs linux is your call. Its what you are more familiar with and meets your needs.

Imagine the power if you knew how to internet search
