hello,
trying to copy and paste a newly created notepad file from client computer to server desktop. the paste is disabled. i am logged with admin permissions. actually i am trying to to copy it to another client on the network, but when i open that computer thru the server, the paste is disabled also , i can do it by accessing the computer thru the network places and then paste. probably some permission setting but i am the admin.

If you're on remotely, then no, you can't do that. It will copy to the local clipboard, and doesn't exist on the second machine. You'll need something like Altiris to do what you want.

A workaround: (disclaimer: MAY work! Windows mantra???)
1. copy as usual 2. run>clipbrd.exe 3. save as .CLP file to a network shared folder 4. at your destination machine repeat step2 5. FILE> OPEN the .CLP file from your network share.
