Question for Exchange or active directory pros:
I have to confess i havent looked into this a great deal, mainly because we dont actively use group policy much, but how powerful is it to change settings etc for mail clients in particular outlook2003?
For example, does anyone know of cool GP's to create extra profiles for exchange server on the users Outlook?
Any group policy tips with exchange will be very much appriciated, and quick pointers to the policy location (it can be a bit of a maze in there =s )
Also, forgive me if this isnt the right forum (if not please advise/point me to exchange or AD forums)
Many Thanks

Your best bet is to get a book or take a class as anything that is suggested could be a disaster if you dont fully understand how it works and ramifications. Not intended as an insult but, it isnt something to deploy on a whim, you really should know what you are doing.

No offense taken, but but believe it or not I already have a book and covered some of this in a class before, i was just hoping for some practical advice.
I understand what you are saying but i wouldnt deploy anything from this board without testing it till i was happy.
I have test users with test mailboxes in test OU's in my active directory, has anyone used group policy to make global changes to their users? create profiles in outlook or anything like this?
