I am having the same problem this guy is having:
http://www.petri.co.il/forums/showt...
There seems to be no solution however. Is there a way of getting and Exchange Server IIS Add in for my Web Server, that way I can deploy Exchange Server on a different machine, NOT the machine running IIS?

As far as I know, the whole idea of Exchange is to have a front-end and a back-end server, the front-end server takes care of incoming requests (i.e. the OWA logon) and redirects the user to the back-end server where the database is located, or perhaps it fetches the data from the back-end server, I'm not sure.
Looking at it logically, OWA should be installed on the front-end server. I don't know exactly, but I believe you need to have exchange installed in both servers in order to get it to work. Just like a primary and secondary domain controller.
Stick to the petri.co.il site though, he has tons of easy-to-read stuff about Win2003 and Exchange. The answer should be in his articles somewhere, I'm sure.

Exchange cannot be installed without IIS being present. Essentially it extends the services already present in IIS like SMTP to allow for Exchange collaboration as well as support for web services like active sync,OMA and OWA.
If you want Exchange "services" on any machine running IIS then you MUST install Exchange.
