opening pps files

I cannot open pps (power point viewer) in outlook express ver 6. I have no problem in my windows 2000. Yes I have the viewer program loaded and I have been to the folder options but still nothing. I can open the files using Mozilla thunderbird in both win2000 and winXP with no problem which it seems to be a problem in outlook express. Any solutions?

I think I have resolved the problem. I switched to the ppviewer97 after removing ppviewer2007 and it worked like a charm. I guess my system just would not recognize the newer version. Thanks Tufenuf for the site.
