What do you mean by another location?
Do you have a firewall on your intranet or is the other location running a firewall?
Is port 3389 open?
How is your intranet configured?
Do you use routable addresses or non routable addresses.
Are you running NAT?
Are you getting a error message?

Be sure to use UPNP on the router too. One must be set to universal for RDP.
