Comment:

we have SBS 2003 w/ exchange & 2 mobile users (700wx & Moto Q). Outlook Web Access is configured and working fine. Outlook MOBILE access is configured and has been working fine for the last 6 months. Until recently... now any changes to messages on the mobile phones do not show up in the users Outlook desktop programs. If you delete or move a message on the phone, it doesn't result in a change on the desktop... the message just sits in the Inbox. The weird part is that no setting have been changed to trace this problem back to.

Here is what I've tried:

- restarting IIS services
- verified the "ExchangeVDir and exchange-oma" setting in regedit
- verified activesync settings on phone
- verified server mobile device settings

There are no activesync errors on the phone, but we do get a message on the server:
"Unexpected Exchange mailbox Server error: Server: [server name] User: [username@email.com] HTTP status code: [409]. Verify that the Exchange mailbox Server is working correctly."

Direct Push from the server to the phones is still working as well.

Any ideas? Anything? I'm stumped
