I have win 2003 server SP1 and MSSQL Server 2001 running with all currently available windows updates. I have an older version of insurance agency management software database reside on MSSQL and working without any problems. There is a utility associated with that software is needs to be run through a batch file and whenever that batch file initiates I’m getting the following error message “ Backuphelp.exe: NTVDM encountered a hard error”. I know NTVDM error is somewhat common but commond.com and sysedit functions are working fine through the command line. Any possible solution you may have is highly appreciated. Thanks
