Call your ISP on the phone and ask them about this. They provided it in the first place and I'm sure they'll be able to get you another.

If you are using a NIC and Cat 5 cable and not USB as recommended by NTL then you do not require any software to connect to the Internet - Once on line then email NTL and ask for the SMTP server etc for your email.
