Ntbackup - backup log error

Hi all,
We have SBS 2003 running in the office. And the backup log on NTBACKUP cannot be read. When you open it up in notepad, all the text are jumble up.
The backup seems to be running fine as each time after the backup it says the verify went well with just a couple of skipped files.
