Comment:

I have a domain with 2 Server 2003 DC's, and OI have just established a VPN link with another LAN. I have noticed that when I navigate to Entire Network, then Microsoft Windows Network, then MSHOME (the name of my domain), there is nothing present. There used to be both servers, and any other workstation that was switched on. I dont know whether this has anything to do with the VPN link or not, but any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Rob

OK I fixed it, but you wont like how if anyone's having the same problem. I had to remove the domain and start again. I tried DCPROMO but they kept throwing up errors so i had to forcefully remove them both. After that they wouldnt connect to the new domain I made cos of some DNS error, or they thought they still belonged to the old domain or something. Anyway, I had to format both DC's! O dear. Its working now anyway so...I wish better luck on anyone having the same issue.

Rob
